"I laid yellow flowers on your coffin" is a photography series that delves into the emotions of losing a friend. A year after the funeral, I reflected on my journey of grief and the impact my dear friend had on her life.
The photographs in this series incorporate elements of blue and yellow, representing our respective colours. Each photograph captures a different aspect of the experience of loss, from the initial shock and disbelief to the process of coming to terms with her absence.
The photo series was part of a group exhibition at Trio in May 2023.
